Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon: Infinity
Act 03 – More questions

“Everyone, we’d like to introduce you to the fourth member of our group. This is Guardian Starlove, High Princess Andalrien Lapteth Hofrek Goldenstar of Kinshei, Guardian of Air. This little fellow here,” Starsinger said, picking a gray cat up off of the ground. “Is Miocci.”

“It's nice to meet you all,” Starlove said, smiling. Miocci meowed.

“You weren’t pulling our collective leg, then,” Mercury said to the Starlights.

“Nope,” Starhealer said, shaking her head.

Starlove walked over to Starfighter. “How’s your neck? I hope it doesn’t hurt after what happened yesterday.”

“It’s fine, thanks,” she said, smiling. There was something weird about this girl.

She smiled, reminding them of an innocent child. “I’m glad I got there in time to help.”

“No time to reminisce,” Miocci said, jumping down from Starsinger’s shoulder. “We do need to get back home.”

Love pulled back her glove, revealing a watch. Her eyes widened, looking at the time. “Shoot! I promised Himitsu I’d be home by now! Until next time!” She took off before anyone could speak.

“Wait!” Starlight yelled after them. “What’s your name?” The girl didn’t hear her.

“Well, so much for that,” SunArrow said, walking up behind Light and placing a hand on her shoulder. “We’ll just have to be patient, that’s all.”

“All this waiting isn’t getting us anywhere,” she fumed, turning away from them. “Why can’t this all just end so we can go back home?”

Starsinger shook her head and looked at her companion helplessly. “We can’t go back. Not without defeating An’ei Souku. Without her, the army can’t do anything to harm anyone. Patience. We’ve waited so long, a little more won’t hurt us.”

Eternalsailormoon walked over to her. “We’ll help you fight. It’s our home that’s in danger, as well as yours. We need your help, even if you might not think you need ours.”

“We don’t.”

“But we do, Shi'iilnyen,” Arrow said, using Starlight’s rarely used real name. “Have you forgotten what Starinfinity taught us? ‘When fighting a powerful enemy, there is strength in numbers’.”

Starlight sighed in resignation and headed back to their apartment. Starlove, who are you, really? Where are you hiding?

Shinami rubbed the sleep from her eyes and rolled over to find Himitsu sitting beside her bed, looking concerned. “Good morning,” she said sleepily.

Himitsu shook her head. “Good afternoon, Shinami. I’m glad you’re finally awake. I was beginning to worry.”

Shinami looked over at her alarm clock. It read 2:30 pm. She shrieked and jumped out of bed, but collapsed to the floor.

“Don’t hurt yourself,” Himitsu said, helping her up onto her bed. “You aren’t used to your henshin sequence yet and it wore you right out. You didn’t have enough energy to stay awake when you got home last night, so I put you right to bed and let you sleep. I told your school that you were sick.”

Shinami looked down and found herself wearing the fuku of Starlove. “So it wasn’t a dream,” she muttered softly.

“No, Shinami. It wasn’t a dream.” Himitsu agreed. “It was very real. Now do you understand why I wouldn’t let you take up fencing?” Shinami shook her head. “It was to protect you from learning of your real past too quickly.”

“My real past?” Shinami stared at her blankly.

“Not all of your memories are back yet, apparently,” Himitsu proceed to tell her of her parents, of her home world, and the war between the Joudou Tengoku, led by An’ei Souku, and the Juoukoku of the Kinhari Tendou. Tears began to stream down Shinami’s cheeks.

“My mother and father. They’re alive?”

“Alive and well, for now, at least. To make sure of that, you need to find your companions, the other three Guardians, and, together with the Sailorsenshi, defeat An’ei Souku and her army."

Shinami nodded. “I’ll do my best. But, how do I find them? I saw them yesterday, but I didn’t see Starfire. Where is she?”

“Do you remember being Diamond’s spell?” Shinami nodded, vaguely remembering. “About three months ago, Jalon'g, called Jen here, fought against Diamond, succeeding in bringing you back, but the effort left her so weak that Diamond was able to capture her.”

“I won't forgive him for that!” Shinami vowed through her tears. “I will get Jalon'g back. Diamond will pay for what he’s done.”

Himitsu nodded. “But for now, you need your rest. Don’t rush head on into this or you might do serious damage to yourself.”

“I understand.”

“I don’t get it,” Tyler muttered on her way to the crown. “I just don’t get it.”

“What?” Yaten asked.

“We loose one, we get one back.” Tyler moaned. “Where does it end?”

Serena shook her head, sending blue-black hair flying into Yaten’s face. “That’s one question I can’t answer, Wolf.”

“Aren’t you supposed to be the one who knows everything. Like Ami?” Usagi asked.

Ami made a face. “Silly Usagi. I never said I knew everything.”

Serena shook her head. “No. Einno is the one who knows everything.”

“Or at least she thinks she does,” Tyler muttered. Brett elbowed her in the ribs. She glared at him.

Seiya paused and looked over to the other side of the street.

“Something wrong, Seiya?” Serena asked.

Seiya shook his head. “I must be going crazy, but I keep seeing Jen everywhere.”

“You must be. Jen was taken, remember?” Taiki scolded his friend.

“I know, I know. It’s just that…”

“Um…Seiya?” Skye tugged on his arm. “You aren’t hallucinating this time. Look!”

The senshi turned to see a woman that looked like Jen. She was with the Triplets and they were attacking a young boy. Jen’s hair looked like it did when she was Starfire: red with silver streaks through it. She was wearing a sleeveless red bodysuit with a gold band at her throat. There were short black gloves on her hands and thigh high black boots, like those worn by the Starlights, on her feet. Around her waist was a gold belt. On either side of the belt was a gold band that went down the outside of her legs, attaching to golden bands wrapping around her thighs.

“Get out there!” Luna shouted. The senshi nodded.

“Wha...what do you want from me?” the boy stammered, backing off fearfully.

“You’ll soon find out enough,” Cheetah, growled, claws flashing. “Talisman Reveal!”

Jen, or whoever she was, grabbed the paw shaped object as it emerged from the boy’s forehead. It quickly turned dark.

“Hold it right there!”

She turned. “You!”

“Ai to seigi no! Seera fuku bishojou senshi Seeramuun. Tsukini kawatte, oshiokyo!” Sailormoon said, appearing with the other senshi, the Starlights and the Guardians.

The woman looked at Starsinger. “Cheetah, get her.”

The cat looked at her, confused. “Kitsune?”

Kitsune frowned. “Don’t just stand there, get her talisman!” She shoved him towards the senshi.

“Aiella Water Dragon!” Singer shouted, her attack knocking Cheetah backwards towards Kitsune.

“Scorpio Time Twist!” Pluto added, aiming her attack for Kitsune.

Fighter knocked it away with her new attack ‘Burning Star Shine’.

“What did you do that for, Starfighter?” Pluto demanded.

“Don’t hurt her!” There were tears in her eyes.

Dancer and Dreamer looked at each other and nodded. “Fighter,” Dreamer said, placing a hand on her shoulder. “She isn’t Jen or Starfire anymore. She’s been twisted by the same spell that got Starlove. Listen to me. Sailorstarfighter!” Dreamer was shaking her shoulders, trying to get her to pay attention. Fighter just kept staring at Kitsune.

A man they’d seen before, one dressed in a uniform with blue trim, appeared behind Kitsune and Cheetah. “Kitsune, Cheetah, her majesty requires your presence.”

“Of course.” Kitsune bowed and left the yahrai, Kotori, to fight the senshi. “Later, weaklings!” she said menacingly, yet sweetly at the same time.

“Wait!” Fighter shouted pleadingly as she disappeared.

“It’s no use, Fighter,” Starlight said, awkwardly placing a hand on her shoulder. “She’s been completely warped.”

“Not like her mind wasn’t to begin with,” SunArrow added dryly.

Suddenly a flurry of razor sharp feathers flew into their group, hitting some of them.

“Libra Heart… “ Venus started, then a feather hit her, slicing across her forehead. She fell to the ground.

“Justice Chain Surround!” The youthful voice of Starlove rang clearly, a chain of hearts surrounding Libra symbols wrapped itself around the youma, lifting it off the ground and sending her off a few feet. Starlove landed next to Venus, panting with the effort.

“Starlove, are you alright?” Stardreamer asked.

“Uh huh. Himitsu told me not to over-exert myself. I wasn’t counting on this.”

Sailormoon nodded. “I’ll take care of it then. Eternal Moon Angel Kiss!” She missed.

“Try it again, Sailormoon. I’ll help with mine,” Starlight offered.

Moon nodded. “Eternal Moon Angel Kiss!”

“Earth Healing Light!” Both attacks combined in a pinkish silvery light and returned the yahrai to his original form.

“How did you do that anyway?” Fighter asked. “I thought only StarFire could heal yahrai.”

Starlove stood and shook her head. “No, both Fire and Light have the ability to heal. I don’t know why Himitsu made it that way, but she did.”

“Himitsu’s ways will always be a mystery to us all,” Stardancer agreed.

“I should head off now before I collapse. I'll see you later.”

Light grabbed her shoulder before she and her cat could take off to the rooftops again. “Who are you? When you aren’t Starlove, I mean.”

She shook her head, flicking strands of her blond hair into Light’s face. “Himitsu says I can’t tell you, nor can I ask who you are. She must see something that I don’t. She says Wavesong might see it, too.” Starsinger shook her head, confused. “Well, anyway, she says to have patience and that you’ll find out soon enough. As will I.” Taking advantage of the situation, Miocci, the gray cat, leaped to Love’s shoulder and as one they headed for the rooftops, disappearing from sight.

Starlight sighed. “So much for that bright idea.”

“I don’t get it!” Tyler slammed her fist down on the table. “Why would Himitsu keep her identity a secret from us?”

“Knowing her, there’s some wild and crazy maniacal scheme behind it.” Serena shrugged. “There always is.”

“Sorry we’re late!” Minako said cheerfully as the inner Senshi walked into the crown. “We brought Hotaru with us. And you’ll never guess who else.”

Hotaru sat down beside Tyler. The two had become good friends in the past two months. A blond girl sat down beside her. “Guys, this is Hizashi Shinami, a new student at my school.”

“And a very famous actress, too,” Usagi added.”

Shinami blushed as introductions were made. Tyler kept starting at her. Serena leaned over. “Stop staring. You look like an idiot.” She stopped.
