Romaji Lyrics English Translation
kaze ga kawareba boku no michi sae sukoshi ha mashi ni naru daro "yutakasa ga kimi-tachi o DAME ni suru" nante shitta kocchanai
If only the wind would change [1] along my path, it would probably get a little better. "Wealth will ruin you" they say. That's somethin' I wouldn't know about.
yume no housoku nado doko ni mo nai hazu sa
There shouldn't be rules or anything like that for dreams anywhere.
POKETTO o kara ni shite saa tabi ni de you yo meate mo nani mo nai keredo
Come on, let's go on a journey, emptying our pockets. [2] We don't have a purpose or anything, but
sugu, POKETTO o kara ni shite saa tabi ni de you yo midara na kimochi burasagete
Soon... Come on, let's go on a journey, emptying our pockets. Carrying our indescent feelings along with us. [3]
kusamura ni nekoronde sagasa no hoshi kuzu me o korashiteta nagareboshi mitsuketa yo demo negaigoto ga wakaranai
Lying down in a grassy field, I looked up at the topsy-turvey stardust. I found a shooting star! But what to wish for? I don't know.
hito o aisuru koto ikiteku koto shinu koto
People love, live, die.
POKETTO o kara ni shite saa tabi ni de you yo meate mo nani mo nai keredo
Come on, let's go on a journey, emptying our pockets. We don't have a purpose or anything, but
sugu, POKETTO o kara ni shite saa tabi ni de you yo midara na kimochi burasagete
Soon... Come on, let's go on a journey, emptying our pockets. Carrying our indescent feelings along with us.

konna kakuu no unmei... kowashite ashita he tabidatsu bokura BURIKI no machi o ato ni takaku sono hata o furikazase furikazase
Destroying such a fanciful destiny, We set off on a journey for tomorrow. Leaving the blik town behind, [4] lift that flag high. Brandish it. Brandish it.
Translator's Notes:
[1] The word "boku" is usually used by guys; I don't know exactly why she's using it since she's a girl...
[2] "Emptying (our) pockets" may refer to "not worrying about money" or to "airing (our) feelings and being honest"
[3] The expression "fukuro wo burasagete" means "carrying a bag/with a bag in one's hands," so "kimochi wo burasagete" means "carrying [our] feelings." I suspect this can be interpreted "always thinking about our feelings" or "with our feelings by our side."
[4] "Blik" (BURIKI when written in Japanese characters) is Dutch for "tin plated"
